I’ve never felt more alone or isolated or misunderstood as when I discovered we were infertile, which is why it’s hugely important to me to raise awareness, to speak out and to help break the silence surrounding infertility, secondary infertility, miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.
The written word has such strength, as does the spoken, and it’s only when we work together, and unite, that taboos will be broken, support can be offered and knowledge is increased.
I used to be ashamed of infertility but, these days, I’m proud.
I’m proud to work with Fertility Network UK, proud to use my name as an influencer for the HFEA, and to educate through my blog, my freelance work and my public speaking. To raise my voice and shout that we may be infertile but we have value and worth and we matter. And to inform the fertile masses that infertility is real, it is life-changing and it is heart-breaking, yet we fight.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me for features, collaborations, articles and interviews, written, or spoken, long or short. There’s nothing I’m more passionate about than speaking out and letting the world know that we do exist and that infertility is real.
